A lot of it is that I just fucking loathe Johto. More than I hate myself, really. That should tell you something right there and even be able to soak through your sopor riddled mind.

There's a ferry, though. It takes you from New Bark to Pallet Town. Pallet Town is in Kanto and I can be there by the time you arrive. If that's what you are looking for.
